About Tropical Hibiscus Cele Tinney Double Pink
Cele Tinney Double Pink Hibiscus is an older cultivar that is seldom grown commercially now. It is a beautiful hibiscus, but it's features of very large leaves, and slower growth make it less suitable for commercial chain store production that many others. Both the blooms and the plant are beautiuful, luxurious and have many versatile uses, making a great addition to any hibiscus collection or garden.
This plant lends itself well to potted culture. The leaves are very large, with an attractive waffled texture, deep forest green color, and serrated edge. The flowers are large, have a unique, interesting shape, and a muted, romantic, pastel, blended palette of cream, rose, and delicate pastel pink.
Left unpruned, Cele Tinney Double Pink Hibiscus will reach a mature height of about 2' to 4' , but is easy to maintain at lower heights. Frequent pruning is beneficial and helps the plant grower bushier and stronger.
For the best results:
- Plant in well draining, fertile, slightly acidic soil
- Locate in the full sun
