Ship To Destinations:
At this time, I do not ship outside the United States, except to Canada. Canadian buyers are responsible for any duty or import taxes that may be required. These ARE NOT included in the shipping cost. Average time for delivery to Canada is about 6-7 days from the date of shipment. Canadian shipments are only made on Monday unless they are for expedited service. Some items may be prohibited or unsuitable for shipment to Canada, therefore, please inquire prior to bidding or buying. Shipments exceeding 4 lbs are shipped UPS and may incur brokerage or sur charges that are not included in the initial shipping.
At this time, we do not offer any items that could be safely shipped to Alaska.
Winter Shipments
We recommend that those in colder zones wait to place orders until Spring. There is significant risk of cold damage to tropical and subtropical species when shipping into cold regions in the winter months. If you would like to place an advance order with delayed shipping, then please just email us at emerald@strato.net and we will be happy to accommodate you.
Shipping Time:
I ship orders out very quickly. Priority Mail is sent Mon-Wed except postal holidays.
Expedited Shipments are sent Mon-Thurs. For expedited shipping service, please email before paying for your order so that we quickly understand you want express shipping. This is set up for express shipping to be entered manually so that we can be certain your order is not accidently delayed.

Shipping charges are the actual cost of shipping and handling. No hidden fees. We are very conscientous about keeping shipping costs ‘very reasonable’. If you have questions about shipping costs, please contact us, we are happy to provide details as to how the shipping is calculated.
Shipping for a Gift:
Want to send a plant gift…no problem
Check your invoice for the correct ship to address.
I will gussy up the wrapping, put in a card and omit the invoice. Gift wrap charge is $3.00.
Gifts can’t be combined with other orders.
Shipping Delays:
We strive to be a Five Star Seller, and ship as quickly as we can, as much as we would like to ship daily, experience has shown that shipping late in the week results greatly increase the chance of unnecessary delay and damage.
The following will cause extended handling time.
Postal Holidays that fall on Mon-Wed.
E-checks or any other form of payment that Pay Pal holds.
Paying with a form of payment not approved by eBay by regular mail.
The following may cause your ship date to be delayed:
Payments made after noon Wed-Sun.
Weather extremes. If we feel the risk of damage to your plants is high we postpone your shipment during periods of bad weather. However, we will let you know if this should happen, and give you the option of canceling the order if you prefer.
Combined Shipping:
Orders for multiple items or different listings are always combined for the lowest possible shipping cost. There is variation in size and weight and what will fit together in which carton, so there are too many variables to give a flat price for combined shipping. If you would like a shipping quote prior to placing your order, then please email a list of the items you are interested in and your zip code. Otherwise, the items will automatically combine at checkout.
Some items are too large to be combined and generally are so noted in the listing… please email with any questions.
